They surveyed the number of times that people used their phone for activities such as checking email or the weather. They found that people who used their phone the most — six activities or more per day — read more print materials than any of the other groups. Not only that, but this group has more varied interests and are more willing to connect with brands/companies via mobile.

And here is the real kicker: Almost 95% of the active group correctly identified a QR code as something that could be scanned to get more information.

This should get you thinking about adding custom print catalogs to your arsenal of ways to drive sales, especially mobile sales. The research strongly suggests that busy people appreciate having printed information that can be read anywhere, anytime. If you provide your users with print catalogs that contain QR codes, you will get more mobile sales.
