Auto-Update Your Print Catalogs with Google Data Feed

You already know that Catalog-on-Demand can make catalogs from your Google data feed in a matter of minutes (click here if this is new to you).

But how do you keep it up-to-date? You’d like to post your PDFs on your site for customers to download. But that does not make sense if the PDFs will be outdated as soon as you start changing the product data. You want your PDF to be in sync with the content in your e-store.

No problem. You can tell Catalog-on-Demand to import your Google feed every 24 hours. That is probably how often your feed is regenerated. This ensures that the Catalog-on-Demand database is in sync with the product information in your store.

And just as important, you can tell Catalog-on-Demand to automatically update selected PDFs every 24 hours. This is done with a feature called Always Fresh. You will see an Always Fresh button for every catalog and brochure that you make.

The great thing is that the link to the PDF does not change. You never have to edit the link on your site. Even when the PDF is updated, the link stays the same.
